CPS Handy Hero for property professionals
Landlords & managing agents
Two ways to work with us — pick the one that fits how you manage property.
For landlords
Less time organising repairs. More visibility across your rental properties.
CPS Handy Hero helps participating landlords centralise routine repair requests, arrange suitable trades, record job status and receive clear quotations for chargeable work. The landlord remains responsible for legal duties, safety compliance, authorisations and funding repairs.
Landlord benefits
- One maintenance reporting contact for each enrolled property.
- Repair triage, appointment coordination and documented work updates.
- Agreed approval thresholds before chargeable work begins.
- Optional scheduled health checks and compliance reminders (not a substitute for inspections or statutory certificates).
- Itemised additional works and clear communication with tenants where authorised.
Three eligible properties at £49.99 per property per month would cost £149.97 monthly, subject to the approved tariff and VAT treatment. This is an illustration, not an offer of free unlimited repairs.
For managing agents
A dedicated maintenance partner for your property portfolio.
CPS offers a proposed business-to-business maintenance coordination arrangement for managing agents. We can receive tenant repair reports, triage jobs, arrange approved trades, obtain instructions for chargeable work and share progress records. Scope, service levels and responsibility allocation are agreed in writing.

Illustrative: where an agent collects £150 per property monthly and separately contracts with CPS at £50 per property monthly, CPS receives £50 and the agent retains £100 before its own costs and duties. This is not guaranteed margin and must be transparently disclosed where required by landlord agreements and applicable rules.
CPS does not automatically assume the agent's fiduciary, regulatory, tenancy-management or statutory landlord responsibilities. No work beyond pre-agreed approval limits without written authority, except carefully defined emergency mitigation powers.
